You have my commitment:

I will listen sincerely and act in the best interest of all concerned citizens and business owners.

Suwanee belongs to its residents, and I am here to serve you.

Drawing on my experience serving the Suwanee community, I will work to find thoughtful, practical solutions to the challenges we face. I will not simply follow what is popular—I will do what is right for Suwanee.

Every development or other proposal brought before the Suwanee Council will be evaluated with care. I will weigh both the positive and negative impacts, always considering how they affect our quality of life, property values, and the city’s long-term economic health.

About Me

ABOUT ME

Pete and Donna Amalfi.jpg

I moved to Suwanee in 1997 after a job transfer from Florida. From the beginning, my wife and I were drawn to Suwanee’s exceptional quality of life and knew it was the ideal place to raise our two children. For the past 28 years, our family has been proud to call Suwanee home and  grateful for all the community has offered us.

My involvement in Suwanee city politics began when a high-density development was proposed near our neighborhood. Concerned about its impact, I joined with neighbors and other residents to successfully oppose the project and help bring about meaningful change. That experience sparked a long-standing commitment to civic engagement.

Soon after, I was honored to serve in volunteer roles on the Suwanee Planning Commission for 18 years and the Suwanee Board of Appeals for 2 years. In November 2020, I was elected to the Suwanee City Council and re-elected in 2021. It has been a privilege to represent and advocate  for the residents and business owners of Suwanee.

Throughout my service, I have actively listened to the voices of our community and worked through a wide range of issues and perspectives to reach thoughtful, balanced solutions. My guiding goal is to ensure that the values, concerns, and aspirations of Suwanee’s residents and business owners remain at the heart of the city’s future decisions and direction.
